Role Overview
Own the online storefront and day-to-day Shopify operations.
Manage the customer experience from product discovery through checkout.
Use at least 3 years of hands-on Shopify experience to manage catalog, pricing, promotions, and inventory.
Shopify Storefront Management
- Own the Shopify admin dashboard and ensure efficient daily operations.
- Audit the site for bugs, broken links, and checkout issues.
- Collaborate with developers and designers on theme updates and new features.
Product Catalog and Merchandising
- Manage product creation, categorization, bundling, and sunsetting in Shopify.
- Maintain accurate and conversion-focused descriptions, images, metafields, and variants.
- Manage navigation, collections, and search to improve product discoverability.
Pricing and Promotions
- Develop discount codes, automatic discounts, flash sales, and bundle offers.
- Monitor competitor pricing and adjust strategies while protecting margin.
- Set up and schedule promotional campaigns with accurate discount application.
Inventory and Supply Chain
- Maintain accurate front-end stock visibility to prevent overselling.
- Manage bulk imports, stock adjustments, and low-stock alerts.
- Coordinate shipments, backorders, and replenishment with operations and warehouse teams.
Performance Analysis
- Monitor conversion rate, average order value, and cart abandonment.
- Use Shopify Analytics and Google Analytics for performance reports and actionable insights.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of professional, hands-on Shopify or Shopify Plus storefront management.
- Experience managing catalogs with 100 or more SKUs and complex variants.
- Understanding of Shopify fulfillment workflows, locations, and stock transfers.
- Experience managing discounts and promotional campaigns in Shopify.
- Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets for data manipulation and bulk editing.
- Understanding of conversion rate optimization and ecommerce UX best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Preferred Skills
- Shopify Plus experience with Liquid, Scripts, or Flow.
- Familiarity with Klaviyo, ReCharge, Yotpo, or ShipStation.
- Knowledge of ecommerce SEO best practices.
- Experience with Cin7, Skubana, or DEAR.
- Understanding of HTML and CSS for minor front-end edits.
