Job Overview
The role is an Employee Benefits insurance placement specialist position based in Mumbai.
The specialist will identify, negotiate, and secure employee benefit insurance solutions for clients.
The work involves coordinating with clients and insurers to align coverage with client needs and budgets.
Placement Responsibilities
- Coordinate internal requirement gathering for fresh, rollover, and renewal cases.
- Create workflows for RFQs, insurer escalations, placement tracking, quote turnaround times, and client prioritization.
- Present information to insurers to obtain competitive coverage and premium quotes.
- Monitor competition and client budgets when negotiating with insurer contacts or senior stakeholders.
- Prepare RFQs, compare offers, and negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions.
- Generate quotes, comparative statements, and manage policy vetting through issuance.
Market and Client Support
- Collaborate with client-facing teams to understand client needs and support suitable recommendations.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and competition.
- Use market knowledge to improve client offerings and align placement work with business objectives.
