The Role Deliver electrical equipment reliability and integrity across all NAO plant areas, while ensuring the electrical HSE is managed in accordance with Electrical Safety Standards.
Deliver electrical equipment reliability and integrity across all NAO plant areas
Ensure compliance with Company HSE standards, applicable Acts & Regulations and Australian Standards
Support electrical safety management systems, standards and procedures and provide technical support to electrical workers
Undertake reliability improvement projects, investigations and root cause failure analysis
Ensure world class maintenance strategies are in place based upon equipment risk and criticality
Monitor compliance to relevant statutory regulations and internal engineering standards
You must be committed to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive and high-performance culture
Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience
RPEQ, CPEng or NPER (Desirable)
Experience in maintenance and/or engineering within a chemical manufacturing plant or similar heavy industry environment
Familiarity with Electrical Safety Legislation, Australian Standards and Safety Management Systems
Demonstrated ability in optimising reliability, risk identification and root cause failure analysis

Northern Australian Operations consists of an Ammonium Phosphate Mine and Processing Plant (Phosphate Hill) and Sulphuric Plant (Mt Isa) in North Queensland.
