Summary
E Construction, a division of N.P.A., is hiring a Class 1 Driver for the 2026 construction season!
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of Class 1 trucks, including but not limited to, the Tandem, Tri-Dump, End-Dump, Side-Dump, Clam-Dump, Belly-Dump and Live Bottom Trucks and equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.
- Perform pre-and post-trip inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Ensure required paperwork, including trip logs and inspection reports are accurately completed and submitted.
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew as needed; check that the vehicle position is correct and any special loading equipment used is properly positioned.
- Ensure proper loading of asphalt and aggregates, while minimizing segregation, which can adversely affect the quality of the roads surface.
- Verify the type and weight of the materials being hauled.
- Move hand and foot controls to jerk truck forward and backwards to loosen and dump material adhering to body.
