Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site E-Commerce Specialist (Shopify) and Web Developer role based in Dubai.
The role manages and optimizes the Shopify storefront while improving the online customer experience and supporting sales growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage product listings, collections, pricing, promotions, and merchandising in Shopify.
- Maintain the website, implement UX/UI updates, and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Launch campaigns and landing pages with design and marketing teams.
- Monitor site performance, speed, security, and web errors.
- Analyze e-commerce metrics, website data, sales data, and key performance indicators.
- Manage integrations and apps and oversee checkout, payment, order tracking, and customer journey flows.
- Coordinate with customer service, operations, and logistics on stock accuracy, order processing, and inquiries.
Qualifications
- Experience with Shopify store setup, management, and optimization is required.
- Experience with front-end web development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is required.
- Familiarity with Shopify themes and Liquid templates is required.
- Understanding of SEO, digital marketing, and e-commerce content and performance best practices is required.
- A relevant degree or diploma is preferred.
- Fashion, retail, or lifestyle e-commerce experience is advantageous.
Required Capabilities
- Strong analytical skills are needed to interpret data, track key performance indicators, and make data-driven decisions.
- The role requires effective communication, customer service orientation, and a sales-focused mindset.
- Performance monitoring, web error resolution, security monitoring, hacking protection, and speed monitoring are required capabilities.
