Role description
The E-commerce Director is a part-time, remote role responsible for building and managing QA Avenue’s digital commerce strategy and operations.
The role oversees digital resources, courses, memberships, user journeys, performance analysis, pricing, promotions, experimentation, and revenue forecasting.
The position coordinates cross-functional projects, manages e-commerce platforms and tools, and reports performance to leadership.
Core responsibilities
- Oversee online product offerings such as digital resources, courses, and memberships.
- Optimize user journeys from discovery to purchase.
- Collaborate with content, marketing, and community teams to create cohesive revenue-generating initiatives.
- Analyze performance data, manage pricing and promotions, and lead experiments to improve conversion, retention, and customer lifetime value.
- Select and manage e-commerce platforms and tools.
- Forecast revenue, set KPIs, and report e-commerce performance to leadership.
Qualifications
- Strong e-commerce skills, including platform management, online merchandising, and user-journey optimization.
- Proven experience in marketing and sales, with the ability to execute campaigns that drive traffic, engagement, and revenue.
- Excellent project management capabilities for cross-functional initiatives, timelines, and deliverables.
- Advanced analytical skills for KPI tracking, A/B testing, and data-informed decisions.
- Comfort working in a remote, part-time environment with strong self-management and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred experience
- Prior experience in digital media, online education, or community-driven platforms is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, marketing automation platforms, and e-commerce systems is a plus.
