NFUM are currently looking to expand our CRM DevOps Team. As a result, we are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and analytical individual to add further talent to the IT delivery teams within our CRM DevOps function.
You will be part of a fast-paced, collaborative, Agile development team that is moving towards a fully-fledged DevOps culture.
The role provides an excellent opportunity for you to develop your career and play a role in the development and support of the Group’s CRM (Dynamics 365) solution as it becomes a key component to NFU Mutual’s Digital Strategy. Not only will you be working within a great team environment, for a company that puts our customers’ needs at the heart of everything we do, you’ll be joining a team that creates valuable solutions for many of our major projects.
Whether you are an experienced developer in Dynamics, a cross-over developer from another platform, a junior developer or wishing start as a junior - if you are keen to learn and add value, we will put a robust training plan in place to support you.
In addition to on-the-job learning, training options could in include formal ITIL, Agile, DevOps courses as needed and MS Azure courses.
After a learning period, the roles will gradually assume and take responsibility for supporting users, developing and testing requirements and ensuring we follow best practice for a secure system. It will entail working with the business, third party suppliers, and other IT teams.

Aptitude/Soft Skills:
A pro-active, creative, analytical and enquiring nature.
The ability to work closely with the business community at all levels of the organisation to understand their goals and issues.
Able to adapt in an Agile development environment and be flexible in approach to work environment and responsibilities.
Good interpersonal skills with clear, concise communication skills; both written and verbal.

A desire to continually improve and provide excellent customer service, taking responsibility and ownership of requirements and issues.
Technical Skills:
The ability to contribute to technical discussions on how best to model a solution (Essential).
Experience of IT software development and methodologies (Essential)
Sound knowledge of the Dynamics 365 CE (Customer Engage), would consider comparative experience in other platforms. (Desired)
Proficient SQL (Essential)
C# skills. (Desired)
Working knowledge of Azure DevOps tool (Desired)
An understanding of Application Insights, Power Apps & Power Automate (Flow) would be advantageous (Desired)
Previous development experience using JavaScript would be an advantage (Desired)
Appreciation of IT systems and their role in providing an IT Service (Essential)
