Role Overview
Deliver Dynamic Positioning and Critical Systems engineering and assurance projects for marine and offshore clients.
Manage DP assurance projects, including audits and trials, while supporting technical excellence, client satisfaction, and business growth.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute surveys and studies, defining scope, schedules, and resource requirements.
- Prepare technical reports, study documentation, and project deliverables.
- Develop technical proposals, tenders, and commercial submissions.
- Apply company procedures, quality standards, approved instructions, and relevant industry regulations.
- Improve work processes, methodologies, and service delivery.
- Build client relationships, identify new business, and support regional service expansion.
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, training, and support to colleagues and junior team members where appropriate.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant education and experience.
- Three to five years of experience in DP assurance, DP technical systems, marine automation, offshore critical systems, or a related field.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, codes, and IMCA guidelines.
- Experience in offshore, marine, or maritime sectors supporting vessel operations and assurance activities.
- Experience with FMEA studies, DP trials, DP audits, and assurance activities.
- Strong fault-finding, troubleshooting, analytical, judgement, and stakeholder skills.
Workplace and Assignments
- The position is based at the company's office in Dubai.
- The job holder will undertake onshore and offshore client assignments.
- Relocation and visa sponsorship support are available.
