Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and vocational or technical background
- Extensive experience and training in general maintenance, electrical or refrigeration, parts inventory and requisition, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting
- At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience
- Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds

Position Summary
- Respond and attend to guest repair requests with little to no supervision.
- Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
- Display advanced ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics concerning plumbing and HVAC.
- Display proficiency in multiple engineering categories such as air conditioning, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, etc.
Responsibilities
- Identify, locate, and operate all shut off valves for equipment.
- Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
- Assure daily activities and problems are communicated to other shifts.
- Safely perform highly complex repairs of physical property, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and perform repairs on all types of equipment including pumps, motors, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.
- Use Lockout/Tagout system before performing any maintenance work.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting of hotel MEP systems.
- Display ability to train and mentor other engineers.
- Perform Engineer on Duty responsibilities including readings and rounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and vocational or technical background.
- Extensive experience and training in general maintenance, electrical or refrigeration, parts inventory and requisition, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting.
- At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification.
- Must meet applicable state and federal certification and/or licensing requirements.

- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
