Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and support ductwork for HVAC and ventilation systems according to project drawings, specifications, and safety standards
- Measure and mark duct locations, cut and shape sheet metal or pre fabricated ducts, fit and secure ducts, and install hangers, supports, and insulation
- Coordinate with supervisors and other trades on site, assist in testing and inspection of installed systems
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow company procedures and local regulations
Requirements
- Strong practical skills in duct installation, assembly, and alignment for HVAC and industrial ventilation systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, layouts, and basic engineering instructions related to ductwork
- Experience using hand and power tools for cutting, bending, fastening, and supporting duct materials safely and accurately
- Knowledge of site safety practices, safe handling of materials at heights, and compliance with relevant HSE guidelines
- Basic understanding of HVAC system components, air distribution principles, and duct insulation practices
- Capability to work in a team, coordinate with supervisors and other trades, and follow instructions with minimal supervision
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined or elevated spaces
- Previous experience as a Ductman or in a similar HVAC installation role; experience in Gulf region projects is an advantage
- High school education or equivalent; vocational training or certification in HVAC, ducting, or related trades is preferred
