- Create, proofread, and edit letters and complex legal documents
- Perform document cleanup for external documents applying firm standards
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- Minimum ten years of overall legal secretarial experience (or work equivalent) required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PDF required
- Proficiency in iManage and other firm software applications preferred
- Accurate typing and strong word processing skills
- Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain flexibility
- Ability to work overtime on short notice

Overview
- Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is recruiting a Professional Assistant for the Energy and Infrastructure legal team in Dubai.
- The role performs specialized and secretarial/administrative duties for the practice area, clients, and the firm.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Provides general administrative support including managing attorney's inbox, updating calendars, and routing mail.
- Complies with the firm's Client File Maintenance policy for managing electronic and hardcopy files.
- Coordinates with attorneys to ensure client/matter electronic materials are stored in iManage.
- Creates, proofreads, and edits letters and complex legal documents from various sources.
- Performs document cleanup for all external documents applying firm standards.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum ten years' overall legal secretarial experience (or work equivalent) required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PDF required; iManage proficiency preferred.
- Accurate typing, strong word processing skills, familiarity with legal terminology.

- This role requires in office attendance in accordance with firm policies.
