DTS Database Developer

Design, develop, and optimise enterprise database solutions and integrations.

Build robust ETL/ELT processes that deliver trusted and consistent data.

Support data-driven decision-making through reporting and management information.

Ensure database security, resilience, compliance, and performance. Contribute to SYMCA's ambitious Digital Strategy and transformation programme.

Strong experience in SQL database development, optimisation, and administration.

Strong experience of managing databases in a clustered environment.

Experience of supporting SQL in an Azure environment.

Expertise in writing complex SQL statements and SSIS packages for data integration.

Expertise in developing data pipelines, integrations, and managing complex datasets.

A proactive approach to troubleshooting, performance tuning, and problem solving.

Knowledge of data protection principles and secure data management practices.

The ability to build positive relationships and support colleagues through training and guidance.
