Responsibilities
- Deliver practical driving lessons to students of varying skill levels
- Customize lesson plans to meet individual student needs and learning styles
- Teach students about vehicle controls, traffic laws, and safe driving practices
- Evaluate student progress through regular assessments
- Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their driving skills
- Prepare students for the Yard Test and UAE driving test
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and lesson plans
- Communicate effectively with students and guardians regarding progress
- Stay updated on latest driving regulations and instructional techniques
- Report training related statistics and contribute to quality procedures
Requirements
- Minimum Secondary School Certificate; Graduate qualification preferred
- Minimum 3 years' experience in driver training or related field
- Valid UAE Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) and/or Motorcycle Driving License held for at least 5 years
- Good knowledge of UAE traffic laws, road safety regulations, and driving best practices
- Minimum mastery of two languages including English
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Good problem solving and decision making abilities

Job Overview
- Yas Driving Academy is seeking dedicated, professional, and customer focused Driving Instructors to join our team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering practical driving instruction to students with varying levels of driving experience while ensuring they develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence required to become safe and responsible drivers.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver practical driving lessons to students of varying skill levels.
- Customize lesson plans to meet individual student needs and learning styles.
- Teach students about vehicle controls, traffic laws, and safe driving practices.
- Evaluate student progress through regular assessments.
- Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their driving skills.
- Prepare students for the Yard Test and in some cases, the UAE driving test, ensuring they meet all requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and lesson plans.
- Communicate effectively with students and, when applicable, their guardians regarding progress and areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on the latest driving regulations and instructional techniques.
- Report training related statistics in coordination with relevant staff.
- Contribute to implementing quality procedures and work instructions related to driving education.
- Maintain and demonstrate a high level of ethics in interactions with both trainees and other YDA staff.
Education & Experience
- Minimum: Secondary School Certificate
- Graduate qualification is preferred
- Minimum 3 years' experience in driver training or a related field.
