Job Summary
The Driver provides safe, timely, and efficient transportation services for a veterinary clinic.
The role transports staff, animals, medical supplies, documents, samples, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport dogs, cats, and other pets while ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Deliver and collect medical supplies, laboratory samples, documents, and equipment between branches or partner facilities.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper upkeep of clinic vehicles.
- Perform routine checks of fuel, oil, tires, brakes, and other vehicle components.
- Report vehicle defects or issues promptly.
- Comply with UAE traffic laws and clinic driving policies.
- Assist clinic staff with animal handling and transfers when required.
- Support logistics and operational tasks when not driving.
Requirements
- A valid UAE light vehicle driving license or relevant category is required.
- Proven UAE driving experience is preferred, especially in healthcare, veterinary, or logistics sectors.
- Pet-handling experience is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of animal handling is preferred.
- Strong familiarity with UAE roads and navigation systems is required.
- Good communication skills in English are required.
- The candidate should be responsible, punctual, trustworthy, professional, and able to maintain confidentiality.
Workplace
- The role involves mobile driving between the clinic, branches, and partner facilities in the UAE.
