Role Overview
The Delivery Driver/Warehouse Material Handler reports to the Branch Manager of the branch location.
This role is responsible for ensuring the safety of each delivery from the moment they leave the facility until they have completed each job and returned safely to the facility.
They are also responsible for receiving materials, pulling orders for walk-in customers, operating forklifts, and loading products onto delivery trucks.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Delivery Driver/Warehouse Material Handler reports to the Branch Manager of the branch location. This role is responsible for ensuring the safety of each delivery from the moment they leave the facility until they have completed each job and returned safely to the facility. They are also responsible for receiving materials, pulling orders for walk-in customers, operating forklifts, and loading products onto delivery trucks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain a clean and efficient warehouse environment.
- Respond to calls from the sales floor in a timely and professional manner.
- Complete pick ticket orders.
- Unload/receive all OTR deliveries.
- Pull and stage orders for each company delivery truck.
- Perform rotating loading or unloading duties as assigned daily.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Double-check all loads for accuracy and ensure thorough security for delivery.
- Operate forklifts safely and responsibly.
- Treat all customers and coworkers in a helpful and professional manner.
- Assist with material delivery to customers or jobsites, including unloading and staging products as needed.
- Perform all duties safely.
- Safe and efficient driving – operating the vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety regulations and procedures, including traffic laws and regulations, including those related to loading, unloading, and driving.
