Train and develop commercial drivers to ensure safe driving in compliance with Amrize policies and provincial laws.
Evaluate driver skills.
Act as an expert for: health and safety, policies, truck maintenance, and operations.
Conduct field observations, provide written evaluations, feedback, and follow up on necessary adjustments.
Support operations management in the planning, tracking, documentation, and compliance of the training program.
Produce reports on evaluations, performance, and re-certifications to ensure quality.
Post new positions, filter applications, conduct interviews, and manage the hiring and training process.
Ensure the application of minimum safety rules and Amrize standards on the job site.
Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by workers and provide corrections when required.
Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviours.
