Position Description:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with a focus on the health and safety of yourself, other drivers and fellow NTD employees by following all established health and safety protocols and reporting any potential hazards
• Function as a key member of a dynamic team.
• Willingness to learn and to perform multiple functions within NTD operations. Including but not limited to warehouse operations, route planning, coordinating work activity and administrative duties.
• Maintain delivery accuracy ensuring that the right product is delivered to our customer base
• Ensure that delivery routes are executed in the most efficient and safe manner possible by adhering to the designated route plans
• Demonstrate professionalism as one of NTD’s main points of contact with our extensive customer base
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks for your vehicle as required ensuring that your vehicle is maintained in a safe operating condition.
• Basic computer work involving iPhone, RF and handheld technology with some application software (Word and Excel)
• Adhere to a daily cleaning schedule for your vehicle
• Maintain a focus on providing a high level of customer service to all NTD customers
• Flexibility in adjusting work hours to support needs of the business
• Assist in warehouse duties as required following all established health and safety protocols
• Other duties as assigned

Experience that Best Prepares You:

• 3-5 years experience in a similar role

• Team player able to adhere to NTD core values
• Must have a valid driver's license (upgraded class might be required) and a clean driver abstract upon review
• Possess excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to start, control and maintain a complete process or procedure, while keeping safety and compliance at the forefront
• Willingness to carry out oral and written instructions
• Capable of communicating effectively orally and in writing

Working Conditions:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to work at height.
