The Driver will be responsible for transporting goods to and from designated locations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
Note: This role is for a 3-Month Contract with the potential for Fulltime
Pay Range: $22.25 - $26.20
The Driver will be responsible for transporting goods to and from designated locations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
Safely operate a truck to deliver products to various destinations, including warehouses, retail locations, and customer sites.
Plan and optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries while minimizing fuel consumption and travel time
Conduct pre-trip inspections of the truck, ensuring it is in good working condition.
Report any mechanical issues to management.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including bills of landing, delivery receipts, and any other required documentation.
Adhere to all local, provincial, and federal regulations, including Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines and company policies regarding transportation safety and hazardous materials
Communicate effectively to provide updates on delivery status and resolve any issues that may arise
Assist with loading and unloading cargo, ensuring it is securely placed and properly secured for transit
Perform other tasks as assigned by lead hand/supervisor

High school diploma is preferred
Must possess a valid driver's license and 2 years driving experience.
A valid AZ driver’s license with appropriate endorsements is considered an asset.
Clean driving record with no major violations.
Strong navigation skills, ability to read maps and GPS systems.
Basic mechanical knowledge of trucks is a plus.
Ability to operate forklift and overhead crane (training will be provided).
Good verbal communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
