Driver (Bus)

General Duties

• Transport colleagues between accommodation and the hotel.
• Clean and maintain the bus regularly.
• Review and update the logbook.
• Maintain a friendly, cheerful, well-groomed, and professional manner.
• Report transportation matters to the Transportation or Employee Services Manager.
• Resolve passenger complaints and maintain associate relations.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, engineering, food and beverage, and other departments.
• Attend scheduled training and cooperate with colleagues and departments.
• Maintain knowledge of daily hotel activities and facilities.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Pick up and drop off colleagues between accommodation and the hotel.
• Operate and maintain transportation vehicles with emphasis on safety and passenger courtesy.
• Perform minor vehicle maintenance and fuel the vehicle when necessary.
• Ensure periodic scheduled vehicle maintenance is completed and reported.
• Prepare trip reports and accident or incident reports as necessary.
• Provide other services requested by management when not engaged in transportation.
• Maintain familiarity with UAE roads, Dubai landmarks, and local road rules.

Qualifications

• Diploma or high school education.
• One to three years of experience in a four- or five-star hotel or UAE driving experience.
• Valid UAE driver license.
