Job Summary
Drawing Checker responsible for ensuring piping and structural engineering deliverables are accurate, compliant, high quality, and constructible.
The role covers engineering consultancy, EPC, piping, structural, boiler, and fabrication project environments.
Location and Work Arrangement
- The role is located in Trichy, Tamil Nadu.
- Work location is in person.
Key Responsibilities
- Check piping isometrics, pipe spool, GA, and layout drawings against P&IDs, line lists, specifications, and client requirements.
- Review structural GA, fabrication, and detailing drawings for accuracy and constructability.
- Verify dimensions, materials, line numbers, supports, weld details, BOM or MTO information, and revisions.
- Identify clashes, routing errors, interference, dimensional issues, and constructability concerns.
- Review 3D models and perform clash checks using Navisworks, SmartReview, or equivalent tools.
- Provide redline markups and coordinate corrections with engineers and designers.
- Ensure comments are incorporated and drawings are completed within project schedules.
