Role Description
The Landscape Draftsman is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai.
The role prepares detailed landscape drawings and plans for planting, hardscape, and irrigation systems.
The draftsman works with landscape designers, engineers, project managers, and site teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate landscape concepts into accurate technical drawings and as-built documentation.
- Update and revise drawings according to project requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers and ensure designs follow local regulations and company standards.
- Conduct site visits to verify measurements and support installation teams.
- Maintain clear documentation for ongoing and future projects.
Qualifications
- Skills in landscape design and landscaping are required for practical and aesthetically pleasing outdoor plans.
- Landscape maintenance and gardening knowledge is required to support realistic and maintainable designs.
- Irrigation skills are required for efficient watering layouts suited to the climate and project specifications.
- Proficiency in CAD software or similar drafting tools is required.
- Attention to detail, spatial awareness, and engineering and architectural plan-reading ability are required.
- Relevant experience in landscape drafting, architecture, or civil or landscape engineering is required.
- Previous GCC experience is an advantage.
- A diploma or degree in landscape architecture, drafting, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Effective communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills are required.
