Role Overview
The Draftsman specializes in creating technical drawings and plans for fire fighting and fire alarm systems.
The work is based on engineering designs and applicable fire-safety standards.
Core Responsibilities
- Create accurate technical drawings and plans for fire protection systems.
- Prepare fire protection, fire alarm, and emergency lighting drawings.
- Prepare layouts, shop drawings, sections, and installation details using AutoCAD.
- Coordinate drawings with MEP and architectural services.
- Incorporate engineer and consultant comments.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma, degree, or relevant technical qualification in engineering, mechanical drafting, or electrical drafting.
- 1–2 years of experience preparing fire protection, fire alarm, and emergency lighting drawings.
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD.
Technical Knowledge
- Basic knowledge of Fire and Life Safety systems, NFPA standards, UAE FLS Code, and Civil Defense requirements.
- Ability to coordinate drawings with MEP and architectural services.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 2,500–6,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person.
