Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed technical drawings and plans using computer aided design (CAD) tools
- Translate design concepts and specifications into precise drawings
- Update and revise drafts based on feedback
- Ensure compliance with project standards and industry codes
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to coordinate design information and resolve drawing related issues
- Contribute to design documentation, maintain drawing records, and support quality control for all drafted materials
Requirements
- Strong visual and design abilities with skills in Graphic Design and Graphics
- Proficiency in Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating detailed technical drawings
- Foundational understanding of Architecture and building or industrial design principles
- Ability to conduct Research to support accurate and compliant drafting and design work
- Relevant diploma or degree in drafting, design, architecture, engineering, or a related field
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet project deadlines
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams on site in Abu Dhabi

Role Description
- This is a full time, on site Drafts Design role based in Abu Dhabi.
- The Drafts Designer will prepare detailed technical drawings and plans using computer aided design (CAD) tools, supporting engineering and architectural teams in the delivery of energy related projects.
- Daily tasks include translating design concepts and specifications into precise drawings, updating and revising drafts based on feedback, and ensuring compliance with project standards and industry codes.
- The role involves close collaboration with project managers, engineers, and architects to coordinate design information and resolve drawing related issues.
- The Drafts Designer will also contribute to design documentation, maintain drawing records, and support quality control for all drafted materials.
Qualifications
- Strong visual and design abilities with skills in Graphic Design and Graphics.
- Proficiency in Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating detailed technical drawings.
- Foundational understanding of Architecture and building or industrial design principles.
- Ability to conduct Research to support accurate and compliant drafting and design work.
- Relevant diploma or degree in drafting, design, architecture, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in industrial, energy, or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet project deadlines.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams on site in Abu Dhabi.
