Saudi Aramco is seeking a Downstream Pricing Data Analyst for its Global Optimizer Department.
The role develops pricing visualization tools, computes and issues transfer prices, and coordinates price validation with stakeholders.
The position supports market-reflective pricing and value creation across downstream refinery operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and improve price forecast visualization tools.
- Gather market, refinery, crude, product, freight, premium, and discount inputs for transfer pricing.
- Compute daily transfer prices and issue weekly forecasts and monthly actual prices.
- Coordinate price reviews and validation with asset economists and market insights teams.
- Review forecast quality, perform pricing checks, and support standard and non-standard price implementation.
- Develop short- and medium-term forecasts based on market conditions.
- Collaborate with product specialists, refinery economists, traders, reporting agencies, and stakeholders.
- Review transfer-price contracts and amendments and support affiliate refinery negotiations.
- Ensure fair pricing practices and continuously improve market analysis and forward views.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Commerce, Marketing, Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or a closely related specialty.
- Five to ten years of downstream oil and gas experience, including B2B product pricing and market research.
- Understanding of downstream business, supply chain, oil market dynamics, and refining operations.
- Experience with model development, Excel functions, data warehousing, and data mining.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Analytical experience working with minimal supervision.
- Postgraduate education or equivalent experience in MBA, Statistics, or Economics is preferred but not mandatory.
