The Continuous Improvement Manager leads strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality across manufacturing operations.
This role drives the deployment of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other improvement methodologies, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
The Continuous Improvement Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams, mentors staff, and ensures alignment with organizational goals and industry standards.
Job Duties and Responsibilities Design and implement continuous improvement plans aligned with business objectives, focusing on productivity, quality, and cost reduction.
Lead cross-functional teams through structured improvement projects using tools such as Kaizen, DMAIC, and value stream mapping.
Train and support employees at all levels in continuous improvement methodologies, fostering engagement and ownership of process enhancements.
Establish KPIs, track progress of improvement initiatives, and present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
Promote standard work practices and ensure all improvement activities comply with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Education and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of applicable experience 10+ years of experience Skills Deep knowledge of continuous improvement tools and techniques, with proven success in leading impactful projects.
Ability to align improvement efforts with business strategy and lead organizational change effectively.
Skilled in managing multiple initiatives, facilitating workshops, and coordinating cross-functional teams.
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills to engage stakeholders, gain buy-in, and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
