Donor Greeter

Represents Goodwill at the point of donations and is responsible for greeting and assisting donors, unloading, pre-sorting, and transferring donated goods to the sorting areas to be processed.

The Donor Greeter will also transport merchandise to the sales floor, stock shelves, rotate and display merchandise as needed.

Provides customer service and offers tax receipts.

The Donor Greeter must provide support services by collaborating with individuals with disabilities or disadvantages.

• Greets, thanks, and assist donors with donations.
• Maintains high level of customer service meeting donors at their vehicle and assist in unloading merchandise. Offer tax receipt to every donor.
• Transfers merchandise to donation center.

• Greets donors within 10 seconds in a courteous manner; assist in unloading donations from vehicles, offer tax receipts and maintains accurate daily donor counts. Greets every Donor with "Good Morning, Afternoon" and thanks the individual for their donation following the Donor Greeter Attendant SOP's.
• Keeps the area observed by donors neat, clean, and well organized according to Kaizen procedures to ensure donors perceive that Goodwill values their donation and that we treat them with care.
• Hard goods pre-sorting using the established procedures (Kaizen); and places items into the designated material handling equipment.
• Place all textiles into the designated material handling equipment.
• Transfer material handling equipment full to the area to be sorted, graded, and hung.
• Always maintain the breakdown area in a neat and clean condition, to include trash handling as directed. Must maintain Kaizen parameters.
• Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
• Maintains acceptable attendance, personal hygiene, and dress code standards including wearing company issued name badges.
