Responsibilities
- Develop and execute documentation strategies aligned with organizational objectives, knowledge management goals, product requirements, and operational needs
- Lead the creation, review, maintenance, and continuous improvement of technical documentation, user guides, process documents, policies, manuals, training materials, and knowledge resources
- Establish documentation standards, templates, style guidelines, review workflows, content governance processes, and quality frameworks
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, operations, customer success, legal, compliance, marketing, training, and executive leadership to gather information and deliver high quality documentation
- Manage documentation lifecycle processes including content planning, authoring, editing, approval, publishing, version management, and archival
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including documentation quality, content usage, update compliance, search effectiveness, customer feedback, knowledge adoption, and content delivery efficiency
- Develop and maintain knowledge bases, internal wikis, customer portals, technical libraries, and documentation repositories
- Ensure documentation complies with organizational standards, regulatory requirements, accessibility guidelines, security policies, and brand communication standards
- Analyze documentation gaps, user feedback, support trends, and business requirements to identify opportunities for content improvement and knowledge optimization
- Utilize Content Management Systems (CMS), Knowledge Management Platforms, Document Management Systems (DMS), collaboration tools, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, analytics platforms, and AI powered documentation tools to manage and optimize content
- Prepare documentation performance reports, content audits, knowledge management dashboards, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop technical writers, documentation specialists, content coordinators, and cross functional contributors while fostering a culture of clarity, collaboration, accuracy, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, English, Information Technology, Business Administration, Knowledge Management, or a related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in documentation management, technical writing, content management, knowledge management, or related roles
- 2+ years of experience managing documentation teams, content operations, or enterprise knowledge programs preferred
- Strong understanding of documentation methodologies, content lifecycle management, information architecture, technical communication, and knowledge management principles
- Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS), Knowledge Management Platforms, Document Management Systems (DMS), Confluence, SharePoint, Git based documentation workflows, Microsoft Office Suite, and analytics tools
- Strong writing, editing, organizational, analytical, and project management skills
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, collaboration, and attention to detail abilities
- Ability to translate complex information into clear, user friendly documentation for diverse audiences
- Ability to work independently in remote and hybrid environments

- Familiarity with API documentation, software documentation, product documentation, AI assisted content creation, accessibility standards, and digital content transformation is advantageous.
- Strong writing, editing, organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
