Position Overview

The Documentation Analyst processes daily documentation, trade confirmations, exceptions, and related activities for a global derivatives documentation team.

The role supports confirmations and queries for FX cash, options, rates, and credit derivatives, including trade confirmation, affirmations, and novations.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure trades are confirmed and necessary actions are completed before set timelines.
Follow up with clients for timely confirmations and monitor queues so all trades are actioned.
Liaise with front office, middle office, clients, and control teams to resolve discrepancies.
Respond to queries on time, refer breaks, and analyze trades and confirmations.
Manage risks through timely escalation, prepare MIS reports, and ensure regulatory aspects are covered.
Improve processes, reduce run-the-bank costs, and provide management information to business line managers.

Skills and Experience

Demonstrate a sound understanding of FX and derivative products.
Experience with derivatives or FX documentation is preferred.
Understand front-to-back processing across trading, documentation, clearing, settlement, accounting, and risk.
Collaborate effectively with global internal teams, external clients, and counterparties.
Use AI tools productively while applying responsible and ethical judgment to data and AI outputs.
