Document Writer - Port Botany Terminal

DP World is looking for a Document Writer based at our Port Botany Terminal who enjoys turning complex information into clear, practical, and easy-to-use documentation.

This is a 2-year Max term contract supporting Engineering, HSE, and Operations teams on optimisation projects, working closely with stakeholders across the business.

You will create and maintain documents that support day-to-day operations, compliance requirements, and knowledge sharing.

• Create high-quality documentation including policies, procedures, work instructions, manuals, reports, templates, guides, training materials, and operational documents.
• Translate complex information into clear, concise, and user-friendly content for different audiences.
• Ensure all documentation aligns with organisational standards, branding, terminology, and formatting requirements.
• Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to gather, validate, and document accurate information.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and discussions to capture processes and requirements.
• Maintain document version control, registers, and document management systems.
• Ensure documentation complies with governance, regulatory, legal, and audit requirements.
• Monitor and manage document review cycles to keep content current and accurate.
• Support document retention, archiving, and disposal in line with policy requirements.
• Review and edit documentation for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and usability.
• Identify and implement improvements to documentation standards, templates, and processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through better documentation practices.
• Organise and maintain accessible document repositories and knowledge libraries.
• Support onboarding and training by providing clear, usable documentation and resources.
