Role Overview
SGB by BrandSafway is seeking a meticulous and organized Document Controller.
The role manages project and office documentation for industrial services, with a strong focus on the oil and gas sector.
The role is based in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain the electronic document-management system for project and office documentation.
- Process, register, and distribute incoming and outgoing documents according to established procedures.
- Track revisions, maintain version control, and preserve document history logs.
- Prepare and distribute transmittals, submittal logs, and document registers.
- Coordinate with project teams to support timely technical-document submission and approval.
- Generate monthly documentation status reports for project management and clients.
- Maintain document archives and back up electronic files.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor's degree in Information Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years of document-control experience in industrial services, focused on oil and gas.
- Experience working with contractors and managing technical documentation.
- Advanced proficiency in Wrench, SharePoint, Aconex, or another EDMS.
