Role Overview
Manage asset documentation, including collection, verification, uploading, and linking into SAP.
Steel industry experience is stated as a must-have.
Required Skills
- Review drawings, manuals, spare-parts records, and related documentation with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong information technology skills, especially Microsoft Excel and SAP.
- Very good written and spoken English.
Preferred Qualifications
- A certificate, diploma, or equivalent is preferred.
- Office software knowledge and SAP experience are listed as preferred training or qualifications.
- Five years of document control experience is preferred.
- Experience in the steel industry, asset documentation, and the Middle East is listed as recommended experience.
Key Accountabilities
- Locate asset documentation through FTP or SAP and coordinate with Operations and Maintenance teams.
- Review documentation against asset codes and verify it with end users.
- Upload documents into SAP, assign unique document numbers, and link records to asset tags and SAP codes.
- Update the master spreadsheet and complete other related work assigned by the Senior Document Controller - Design Engineering.
