Document Controller

We are currently seeking a Document Controller , reporting directly to the Head of the Department to join our team based in UAE, Abu Dhabi .

About the mission we offer you:

• Document Management — Maintain and control all incoming/outgoing documents, ensuring correct coding, versioning, and filing in the Document Management System (DMS).
• DMS Administration — Upload, register, track, and archive documents using systems such as Aconex, EDMS, SharePoint, SmartPlant, or similar platforms.
• Engineering Deliverables Control — Manage vendor documents, drawings, datasheets, procedures, and technical reports across all disciplines.
• Transmittals & Distribution — Prepare transmittals, ensure timely distribution to internal teams, contractors, and clients, and track acknowledgments.
• Revision Control — Ensure proper version control, maintain document history, and prevent use of obsolete documents.
• Compliance & Standards — Ensure documentation aligns with project specifications, EPC procedures, ISO standards, and client requirements (ADNOC, Aramco, Shell, etc.).
• Audit Readiness — Support internal and external audits by ensuring complete, accurate, and traceable documentation.
• Coordination — Liaise with engineering, procurement, construction, QA/QC, and subcontractors to resolve document issues and maintain smooth workflows.
• Reporting — Generate logs, status reports, overdue reports, and document registers for management and project teams.
