Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, for a Diving Mechanical Technician.
The technician will be responsible for conducting routine equipment maintenance, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, and effectively managing maintenance and repair tasks for diving equipment.
This role ensures that all diving gear and related equipment meet safety and operational standards.
Collaboration with an experienced team and adherence to industry guidelines will be essential.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair activities
- Understanding and application of Preventive Maintenance procedures
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical equipment issues
- Capability to follow safety regulations and industry standards
- Relevant certifications or training in mechanical or diving equipment maintenance are a plus
- Experience in the commercial diving industry or a similar technical environment is highly desirable
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced, on-site work environment
