Support the Director of Safety in implementing and maintaining the company's health and safety management system.
Conduct routine workplace inspections, site audits, and hazard assessments.
Monitor compliance with provincial and federal safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices
Participate in incident, accident, and near-miss investigations and assist in determining root causes and corrective actions.
Track and follow up on corrective action plans to ensure timely completion.
Deliver or coordinate employee safety orientations, toolbox talks, and safety training sessions.
Promote a proactive safety culture through employee engagement and coaching.
Support quality assurance programs and operational standards across all departments.
Perform quality inspections and audits to verify adherence to customer and company requirements.
Monitor quality metrics and assist in identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Participate in investigations of quality deficiencies, customer complaints, and non conformances.
Support the implementation of corrective and preventive action programs.
Assist with the maintenance of quality documentation, procedures, and records.
Collaborate with operational teams to improve service delivery, efficiency, and consistency.
Assist with workforce supervision to ensure compliance with company procedures and performance expectations.
Support operational planning and resource coordination as required.

Conduct field observations and provide coaching to employees on safe work practices and quality standards. Assist in developing and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Quality Management, Business Administration, Engineering Technology, or a related field is an asset.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
1-3 years of experience in safety, quality, operations, transportation, manufacturing, construction, or a related industry.
Experience conducting inspections, audits, or compliance activities is considered an asset.
Previous supervisory or leadership experience is an asset.
National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) designation or working toward certification.
ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Certification.
First Aid/CPR Certification.
WHMIS Certification.
Joint Health & Safety Committee Certification.
