Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven **Distribution Sales Manager** to lead and expand our distribution sales operations.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, developing distributor relationships, and leading the sales team to achieve revenue and market share targets.

Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and implement distribution sales strategies to achieve company sales targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities, markets, and channels to expand distribution.
  • Manage and grow relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and key accounts.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.

Team Management

  • Lead, train, and motivate the distribution sales team.
  • Set sales targets and KPIs for the team and monitor performance.
  • Conduct regular field visits and performance reviews.

Distributor & Channel Management

  • Appoint and manage distributors to ensure strong market coverage.
  • Ensure proper stock availability, product visibility, and merchandising standards.
  • Support distributors in achieving sales targets and resolving operational issues.

Sales Planning & Reporting

  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and periodic reports.
  • Analyze sales data and provide insights for strategic decisions.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy receivables.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with key customers and retail partners.
  • Address customer complaints and ensure high service standards.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum **5+ years** of experience in distribution/FMCG sales.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing distributors.

Skills

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and sales reporting tools.
  • Valid driving license preferred.
