Distribution Centre Manager - Sydney

Leading and developing a team and driving a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance across the site.

Managing warehouse operations, inventory accuracy and outbound service performance.

Monitoring operational metrics and identifying opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency.

Working closely with transport providers, customer service teams, sales and supply chain stakeholders.

Managing labour, costs and resources to meet business and customer requirements.

Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across warehousing and logistics processes.

Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, stock control and operational discipline.

Previous experience managing a large warehouse or distribution centre operation.

At least 5 years' experience in a senior warehousing, logistics or distribution leadership role.

Strong people leadership skills with experience leading supervisors and operational teams.

Experience managing warehouse KPIs, inventory accuracy and service performance.

A practical, hands-on leadership style and a willingness to be visible on the floor.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Experience in building materials, manufacturing, industrial or FMCG environments will be highly regarded.

Experience using Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office applications.
