Distribution Centre Manager***Gestionnaire, centre de distribution

Promote a strong safety-first culture throughout the distribution center.

Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

Support and maintain programs such as C-TPAT and other corporate compliance initiatives.

Deliver and monitor employee training to ensure regulatory and operational requirements are met.

Develop and manage annual operating budgets.

Monitor spending and analyze operational and financial performance.

Identify opportunities for cost savings, operational improvements, and loss prevention.

Prepare reports and communicate operational results to leadership.

Work closely with Transportation, Procurement, Production, Customer Service, Human Resources, and other internal partners.

Maintain strong relationships with carriers, vendors, customers, and external stakeholders.

Resolve operational challenges while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and service.

College diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

3-5 years of leadership experience within a warehouse, distribution, logistics, or supply chain environment.

Experience leading teams in a unionized environment is considered an asset.

Ability to successfully pass a C-TPAT background check.

Strong leadership, organizational, and people management skills.

Proven ability to coach, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Strong understanding of occupational health and safety requirements.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to operational excellence and customer service.

Combination of office, warehouse, and yard environments.

Exposure to moving equipment, industrial vehicles, noise, and varying temperatures.

Frequent walking, standing, and movement throughout the facility.

Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.

Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety footwear, safety glasses, and high-visibility apparel.

Flexibility to work extended hours as business needs require.
