About The Role
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Dispatch Officer to join our Production team.
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating daily product deliveries to customers, managing truck and driver assignments, and ensuring smooth logistics operations in line with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process daily customer delivery requirements via phone, email, or through sales representatives
- Schedule deliveries in accordance with truck/driver availability and finished goods stock levels
- Communicate delivery times and quantities to customers
- Assign trucks and drivers to scheduled trips
- Monitor finished product physical stock and raise production requests as required
- Control truck loading processes and quantities
- Manage delivery notes — from printing and signing through to filing and reporting returned DOs
- Coordinate truck offloading with site in-charge personnel
- Report customer complaints and logistical issues to the Plant Supervisor
- Maintain and update daily driver trip sheets
- Liaise with sales representatives on delivery-related matters
- Ensure strict compliance with HSSE requirements
Education
- Vocational/Technical Diploma or degree in Material Engineering or a related field
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar dispatch or logistics role
- Background in a similar industry preferred
Skills
- Good command of English (reading, writing, and speaking); knowledge of local languages is a plus
- Advanced computer skills
- Strong planning, problem-solving, and analytical thinking abilities
