Disney Live Entertainment® Performer Submissions: Disney Character & Character Look-Alike

Walt Disney World Character Look-Alike performers will also perform as fully costumed Disney Characters in Character Greetings and Character Sightings. Responsibilities may include wearing character heads, body costumes, and footwear, as well as performing outdoors in hot and humid weather conditions.

HOW TO APPLY:

Step 1: Create or Update Your Disney Auditions Profile

Before participating in the audition process, please click the "My Profile" button at the top of DisneyAuditions.com and create or update your performer profile.

Step 2: Submit Your Materials

Recent photos that clearly represent your current appearance

Your performance résumé (if applicable)

Any additional materials requested in the submission form

All submissions must be received by September 27 , 2026, to be considered.

CALLBACK INFORMATION:

Candidates selected to move forward in the process will be invited to an in-person callback in San Diego, California, on October 20, 2026 .

Virtual submissions or virtual attendance options in place of the callback will not be accepted.

Candidates must be available to attend the callback in person if selected.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of the audition.

Invitations to attend will be sent by October 5, 2026.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must be at least 18 years of age

Must be authorized to work in the United States

Must be able to stand, walk, and perform for extended periods

Must be willing to comply with Disney appearance guidelines if hired

Strong guest service, improvisation, and performance skills are encouraged

International candidates must possess a valid passport and be willing to temporarily relocate if applicable

COMPENSATION:

Disneyland Resort Character Look-Alike Performers

$26.00/hour base rate

Additional $4.75/hour premium for hours worked onstage as a Character Look-Alike

Walt Disney World Character Performers

$ 19.55/ hour base rate ( $20.55 /hour base rate beginning 10/4/2026)

Additional $ 3.25/ hour premium for hours worked onstage as a Character Look-Alike
