Project Overview

Project Leadership

• Own delivery from mobilization through mechanical completion, pre-commissioning support, and handover.
• Develop the master execution plan across engineering, procurement, construction, subcontracting, and commissioning.
• Chair steering committees and represent the company in senior stakeholder meetings.

Technical and Construction Scope

• Direct structural steel, above- and below-ground piping, pipe rack, and pipe support installation.
• Oversee static and rotating equipment installation, including gas turbines and compressor trains.
• Coordinate mechanical teams with instrumentation and electrical contractors and oversee commissioning assistance.

HSE and Quality

• Ensure compliance with Qatar Energy HSEMS, Qatar labour law, process safety standards, and brownfield SIMOPS controls.
• Ensure QA/QC systems, inspection and test plans, and welding/NDE programs meet project specifications and applicable codes.

Commercial and Controls

• Manage project P&L, cost control, cash flow, margin targets, contract administration, variations, claims, and close-out.
• Manage subcontractor and vendor performance and maintain schedule, progress, cost, risk, forecast, and reporting controls.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline is required.
• At least 20 years of oil and gas EPC or construction experience, including 8 to 10 years as a Project Director or Senior Project Manager.
• Experience with brownfield oilfield facilities, mechanical construction, commissioning interfaces, Qatar Energy standards, applicable codes, and contract management is required.
• PMP or equivalent certification and Arabic are preferred rather than mandatory.
• Fluent written and spoken English and willingness to be based full time are required.

Work Environment

• The project is based in a desert oilfield brownfield environment with strict access, safety, permit-to-work, isolation, and simultaneous-operations controls.
