Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the APAC Regional HR team to deliver effective HR support and drive strategic people outcomes
- Lead the development, implementation, and governance of Codan's global remuneration and reward strategy
- Design and maintain remuneration frameworks, salary structures, pay bands, job architecture, and reward governance processes
- Lead annual remuneration review processes including merit planning, calibration, and governance
- Drive market benchmarking, remuneration analytics, and workforce insights
- Establish and monitor pay equity, pay transparency, and remuneration compliance frameworks
- Partner with Finance on workforce cost forecasting, remuneration budgeting, and incentive planning
- Contribute to Codan's HR transformation agenda through scalable people frameworks and systems
Requirements
- Experienced HR and Reward leader with strong track record in developing and governing remuneration frameworks in complex, multi site, or global organizations
- Deep expertise across remuneration strategy, reward governance, job architecture, salary structures, market benchmarking, pay equity, executive remuneration, and workforce analytics
- Ability to partner effectively with leadership and align reward frameworks with business strategy
- Strong analytical capability and commercial acumen
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills and ability to influence
- Experience leading HR teams and supporting organizations through growth and transformation

About The Role
- Reporting to the CHRO, the Director People & Reward leads HR across APAC and provides enterprise wide leadership for reward strategy.
- This role combines regional HR leadership with ownership of global reward frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the APAC Regional HR team.
- Support workforce planning, leadership capability, performance, talent, succession, and organisational effectiveness.
- Strengthen the capability of the HR function by transitioning from transactional to strategic partnering.
- Lead the development, implementation, and governance of Codan's global remuneration and reward strategy.
- Design and maintain remuneration frameworks, salary structures, pay bands, job architecture, and reward governance processes.
- Lead annual remuneration review processes.
- Drive market benchmarking, remuneration analytics, and workforce insights.
