- In depth familiarity of pharmaceutical manufacturer compliance requirements (HIPAA regulations) and federal regulations

Overview

- The Director, Treatment Experience Strategy & Operations is responsible for the development and execution of strategic initiatives that enhance patient access.
Responsibilities
- Align patient services initiatives with organizational goals, compliance standards, and market access strategies.
- Manage vendor relationships to deliver high quality services and operational excellence for both providers and patients.
- Drive digital first strategies for patient engagement and identify and implement technology solutions to streamline processes and enhance patient experience.
- Define and refine key performance metrics by leveraging patient analytics, customer feedback, benchmarking, and compliance monitoring to drive continuous improvement in program outcomes.
- Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of the patient and provider journey, and identifies potential barriers to their onboarding experience.
- Provide oversite of the Treatment Experience budget and forecast.
- Collaborate and work cross functionally with all external vendors and internal stakeholders (i.e. Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Trade, Compliance, Commercial Operations, and Legal) to support impactful strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required. Advanced Degree Preferred (Pharm D or Master’s Degree).
- 10+ years of relevant working experience in Patient Services function. Previous work history in pharmaceutical, biotechnology industry preferred.
- Proven experience in strategic planning and optimizing organizational effectiveness.
- Track record of successfully managing and leading vendor relationships from both a strategic and operational perspective and achieving results.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively with people individually and groups.
- Proven depth with analytical (qualitative and quantitative), creativity, and problem solving skills.
- Strong functional knowledge of health insurance and benefits (i.e. Medicare Part D, commercial and Medicaid) with a solid understanding of insurance eligibility, benefit verification, prior authorization processes, reimbursement coverage, appealing insurance denials, application of financial assista
- In depth familiarity of pharmaceutical manufacturer compliance requirements, (HIPAA regulations) and federal regulations.
Pay Range
- In the U.S., the hiring pay range for fully qualified candidates is $220,500 $257,250 per year.
