Role Overview

  • A prestigious luxury hotel in Saudi Arabia is seeking an accomplished Director of Sales & Marketing (Commercial Director) to lead the property's commercial strategy, drive revenue growth across all market segments and deliver exceptional business results.
  • Reporting directly to the General Manager, this executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth, market share, brand positioning, and overall commercial performance across all business segments.
  • The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership for Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, Digital Marketing, Public Relations, and Business Development while ensuring the achievement of financial objectives and long term profitability.
  • This is an outstanding opportunity for a commercially focused hospitality professional who combines strategic vision with a hands on leadership approach and thrives in a fast paced luxury environment.
  • The successful candidate will be an energetic and inspirational leader with a passion for luxury hospitality, a proven record of commercial success, and the ability to build high performing teams while delivering sustainable revenue growth and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic language skills is mandatory.

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum 8–10 years' progressive leadership experience in Sales & Marketing within luxury hotels or resorts.
  • Previous Middle East hospitality experience is essential.
  • Proven success in revenue generation, budget management, market penetration, and exceeding commercial targets.
  • Strong luxury hospitality background with an excellent understanding of current customer behaviour, travel trends, digital marketing, and distribution strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute innovative commercial strategies, ideally within a pre opening, repositioning, or rebranding environment.
  • Highly developed leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills with the ability to engage effectively with owners, corporate executives, travel partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strategic, analytical, and results oriented with strong business acumen and financial management skills.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills would be a significant advantage.
