Portico Recruitment seeks a Director of Sales and Business Development for a luxury bespoke furniture brand in Dubai. The role involves driving sales through brand activation, building relationships with interior designers and architects, and executing exclusive events.

Responsibilities
- Planning & execution to achieve Annual sales targets by generating enquiries & timely converting deals to achieve quarterly & yearly sales targets while maintaining Brand positioning
- Introduce, build and maintain strong, long lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with targeted interior designers and architects focused on high end residential projects
- Engage IDAs & UHNI clients with in person meetings, vendor presentations & virtual tours/discussions for sales growth
- Collaboratively strategise with the overseas team & execute marketing plans to build 'Our clients' company brand in Dubai
- Identify & expand the relationship with IDAs network beyond Dubai
- Plan and execute exclusive events and experiences for clients, such as private previews, dinners, personalised tours and Art & Design exhibitions
- Strategise & acquire UHNI/HNI clients and maintain exceptional relationships with them by ensuring their satisfaction and fostering loyalty to the Brand
- Identify & collaborate with IDAs, galleries, artists and like minded brands
- Regular meetings with the Brand Director & Founder to review existing and new business opportunities in conjunction with quarterly sales targets
- Other duties and special projects as requested by the Company
Requirements
- Proven, active network of interior design and architecture studios in the UAE, specifically those specialising in high end luxury residential projects
- Demonstrable track record of generating sales and long term relationships within this residential design studio network
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Marketing & Communication, Interior Design, Luxury or related fields
- Minimum 10 years of experience in sales preferably in interior and architectural studios
- Excellent written & verbal communication, good personality, strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple clients or projects simultaneously
- Self motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Mindset & approach to be solution driven
- Adaptability, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for the brand

Job Skills
- Candidate should possess a strong network & relationship with Interior Designers doing high end residential projects.
- Candidate should have extensive experience in engaging and working with IDAs community/ Interior Designers doing High End residential projects.
- Knowledge and experience in liaising and brand building with interior designers, architects, media and Interior design based groups & Organisations
- Experience in acquiring UHNI clients & generating sales in Luxury, Art & Design Industry.
- An ability to market & develop new business opportunities through networking, relationship building, and collaborations.
- Experience in planning & executing High End events & Private Previews.
Personal Attributes
- Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Marketing & Communication/ Interior Design/ Luxury or related fields.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in sales preferably in interior and architectural studios
- Excellent written & verbal communication, good personality, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple clients or projects simultaneously.
