Lead the company's procurement function and purchasing team.
Set sourcing strategy and ensure reliable, cost-effective supply of materials, equipment, and services.
Own supplier relationships and negotiations while driving cost savings and supply risk reduction.
Responsibilities
- Develop procurement strategy for direct materials, indirect materials, capital equipment, and services.
- Lead and develop the purchasing team using objectives, KPIs, and development plans.
- Direct supplier selection, qualification, performance management, and strategic partnerships.
- Lead negotiations covering pricing, contracts, terms, and long-term agreements.
- Drive cost savings and total-cost-of-ownership improvements while safeguarding quality and delivery.
- Identify supply risks, develop contingency and dual-sourcing plans, and monitor supplier health.
- Establish procurement policies, approval workflows, ethical sourcing standards, and compliance controls.
- Partner with planning and operations on inventory strategy, lead times, and material availability.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality on product sourcing, supplier development, and VA/VE initiatives.
- Oversee ERP/MRP procurement data and report spend, savings, supplier performance, and market trends.
- Prepare and manage the procurement department budget.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of progressive procurement or purchasing experience, including 3+ years in leadership.
- Proven cost savings and complex supplier negotiation experience.
- Knowledge of sourcing, contract management, and supplier performance management.
- ERP/MRP systems and spend analytics experience.
- Executive-level leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Heavy manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial products experience.
- International sourcing, logistics, and customs or trade compliance experience.
- Procurement transformation or digitalization leadership experience.

- The role is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
