Director of Engineering, Platform & DevOps

Standardize CI/CD (GitHub Actions/Jenkins or similar), artifact signing, progressive delivery.

Enforce security-by-design: SCA/SAST/DAST in pipelines, secrets management, least-privilege IAM, network segmentation, runtime hardening.

Lead remediation SLAs with Security; maintain audit-ready evidence for enterprise standards and regulations.

Direct the design/operations of secure AWS platforms using IaC (Terraform/Pulumi) with drift detection and change controls.

Oversee EKS/Kubernetes multi-cluster/multi-region strategy, capacity planning, and resiliency patterns.

Define SLOs/error budgets and ensure effective incident response, post-incident learning, and reliability investments.

Publish clear reference architectures, runbooks, and standards; keep documentation current and discoverable.

Communicate priorities, trade-offs, and status to execs and cross-functional partners; influence with data.

AWS DevOps Engineer – Professional and/or AWS Solutions Architect (Assoc/Pro).

Experience with data/streaming platforms (e.g., Databricks/Kafka) or edge/low-latency systems.

Vendor consolidation and contract negotiation experience.
