Responsibilities
- Design, oversee, and continuously improve the Group’s cyber security posture
- Lead the development and implementation of security policies, standards, and controls to safeguard information, digital platforms, and collaborative tools
- Assess security risks, manage incident response processes, coordinate vulnerability assessments, and guide secure architecture decisions
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure secure information sharing, conduct security awareness activities, and maintain compliance with relevant regulations and best practices
- Monitor emerging cyber threats and advise the organization on strategic security investments and priorities
Requirements
- Strong foundation in Cybersecurity and Information Security, with demonstrated ability to build and oversee comprehensive security programs
- Expertise in Network Security and Application Security, including secure configuration, monitoring, and protection of cloud based and collaboration environments
- Experience in Security Architecture Design, with the ability to define secure system and data flows aligned with organizational needs and risk tolerance
- Prior leadership experience in cyber security roles, including incident response coordination, risk assessment, and policy development
- Familiarity with relevant security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls) and applicable data protection regulations
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical risks into clear guidance for diverse stakeholders
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote, global, cross industry context and to collaborate effectively with partners and member organizations
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP) are highly beneficial

Role Description
- The Director of Cyber Security is a part time, remote role responsible for designing, overseeing, and continuously improving the Group’s cyber security posture.
- This position leads the development and implementation of security policies, standards, and controls to safeguard information, digital platforms, and collaborative tools used by the collective.
- Day to day tasks include assessing security risks, managing incident response processes, coordinating vulnerability assessments, and guiding secure architecture decisions for current and future systems.
- The Director will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure secure information sharing, conduct security awareness activities, and maintain compliance with relevant regulations and best practices across jurisdictions.
- This role also involves monitoring emerging cyber threats and advising the organization on strategic security investments and priorities.
Qualifications
