About The Capitol Forum

Position and Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business development efforts targeting prospects across Europe.
  • Own and grow the European territory while managing and mentoring two London based sales team members.
  • Drive new client acquisition while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing subscribers.
  • Proactively generate and pursue new leads to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of The Capitol Forum's reporting and analysis.
  • Engage inbound leads from marketing campaigns, conferences, and referrals.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline using CRM tools.
  • Conduct client meetings, product demonstrations, and trial access.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity, forecasts, and progress reports.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, editorial, and leadership teams.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably within financial intelligence, research, data, or media.
  • Proven success in sales.
  • Prior experience managing or mentoring sales team members.
  • Strong understanding of how our target audience uses regulatory and policy intelligence.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self starter who thrives in a fast paced, mission driven environment.
