Brief

The primary purpose for this role is to hunt and generate new business for the company suite of Cloud solutions and Open API platform directly and via partners in the Middle East.

This person will be accountable for achieving revenue targets, prospecting, managing the full sales cycle, building relationships and closing sales.

This position will also provide internal advice to support the overall growth strategy for driving company business activities in the Middle East.

Responsibilities

  • Proactive development of new business in the region. Especially with Insurance Companies, Banks, NBFCs, Brokers, Fintechs, Insurtechs and other non-traditional Insurance distributors.
  • Lead and personally undertake Sales activities from initial contact until sale closure. This will include contacting prospects face-to-face as well as via telephone and electronically.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key prospects, decision-makers, alliance partners and industry experts.
  • Prepare detailed quotations and proposals that fully meet client expectations, as well as minimize risk. Follow company procedures for quotation review and accept responsibility for the scope, accuracy and winning of these proposals.
  • Achieve target sales quotas on a consistent basis
  • Clearly articulate the overall value proposition and specifically the features and benefits of our set of Cloud and Open API platform.
  • Maintain a solid knowledge of company’s underlying technology, the range of existing products and consulting services.
  • Take a leadership role in developing and executing a sales strategy for the assigned region.
  • Build the partner ecosystem to drive business growth.
  • Work with Marketing and to develop new opportunities and lead generation events.
  • Analyze competitor products and activities and provide feedback to marketing and product development.
  • Network with industry leaders, alliance partners, industry vendors and competitors, and participate in industry forums
  • Ensure deal visibility and accountability at key points in the sales cycle.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience with relevant sales experience in the InsurTech or in partnership distribution / Alliances teams in any of the leading Middle East Insurance company
  • Experience in cloud computing technology
  • Good understanding of the InsurTech industry and its ecosystems in the Middle East market
  • Experience and knowledge of the Insurance industry preferred
  • Thorough understanding of the enterprise sales cycle and show a methodical approach to moving opportunities through this cycle
  • Ability to analyze market trends and business data to identify new market potential.
  • A proven, highly successful record of selling complex business applications to senior executives and other stakeholders in large and small-to-medium size organizations including alliance partners.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
