About Gracenote
Gracenote is Nielsen’s content data business unit, providing entertainment metadata and connected IDs for media companies and digital clients.
Gracenote’s Data Platform structures and models TV entertainment data for editorial, ingest, delivery, and client-facing systems.
Role Overview
Lead DevOps and Platform Engineering for Gracenote India across infrastructure, cloud platforms, observability, FinOps, and engineering enablement.
Partner with local and global stakeholders to deliver high availability, scalability, security, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Manage and scale multiple DevOps and cloud infrastructure teams with direct and indirect managerial responsibility.
- Oversee AWS infrastructure and services including Glue, MSK, EKS, EMR, RDS, S3, and related compute resources.
- Drive Kubernetes platform operations, workload security, automated scaling, cluster management, and reliability.
- Own observability using Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, and related telemetry tools across microservices and data pipelines.
- Lead FinOps initiatives covering cost tracking, forecasting, efficiency benchmarks, and resource optimization.
- Promote automation across Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, testing, and self-healing systems.
